lvl 91 Warrior / Titan + End game feedback.

Happy New Year everyone, I wish you all the best IRL and IG.

So far at 91 as a warrior, I'm loving the game, I know it's Early Access but:

All acts in campain was smooth and easy even at cruel difficulty.

But as a melee, I was frustrated for the Trial of Sekhemas even after the patch.
I still need my 2 last points, but I don't want to deal with that crap for now.

Damage is OK, I won't complain about that

Melee skills:

Stampede need rework, if it have an obstacle (monster, tree, wall), your character make some crazy U turns or move to some random direction that can lead to your doom.
Animation is so damn slow, you have to invest in skill duration passive, skill speed or stun immunity to avoir being stun locked to death.

Leap Slam have the same issue. And sometimes your character just jump 1 meter away or not move at all for unknown reason.

Hammer of the God even after casting the skill, you can be interrupted when you block with your shield, and you lost 20 seconds of cooldown.


Armor: Many many videos and posts about that. It's useless. I only rely on my 75% block and dodge (spacebar).

Block: almost a 10/10 ability. But when you are swarmed as a melee, it seem you can't do any skill because you are getting interrupted. Can anyone confirm this?

Accuracy: Why melee hits can miss but not the spells? Why I do have to invest in the no-miss talent (and lose the ability to crit) to be able to hit monsters?



End game mapping and currency:

100+ hours in end game: I found zero citadel, I followed many tips and video, but still no luck.

I only dropped ONE Divine in 180 hours of gaming. I wan't to kill mobs and farm smashing thing. I want to upgrade my gear myself and not doing some Excel formulas trading crazy thing. The economy for now is a joke.
Only the early veterans that were already playing Wall Street Simulator can afford trading end game gear.

14+ waystones are so hard to maintain, you have to invest heavilly in the atlas to have some or play in dangerous maps with scary mods to get some.

The burning ground do crazy damage and can't be avoided in some maps like crypts. As a melee I have to pray to not get swarmed in a bad corner.
Sometimes it's placed just under a ritual flag, and you melt while you are browing the items you can buy.

The bonus pillar that turn every drop in gold is a scam. Can you remove it please, or tweak it so mobs drop MORE gold? When I clic on it, I just stop killing thing until the effect go away.

Strongboxes are bad... Never got something worth it.

Hideouts and Tower maps are not worth wasting 13+ waystones on them...

Interface:

Can we have the level of the gems skills that drop?

Please add a way to bookmark or mark a position on the End Game map so we don't have to search for a previous location forever.

Add a search fonction so we can highlight some maps (like boss etc).

Can we use the gamepad AND keyboard/mouse at the same time? I play on my desktop PC with keyboard and mouse, and on to go with my Steam Deck.
Or at least let us a way to use the mouse / trackpad while to do the inventory stuff and managing skills.

Can we have a way to move the buffs and debuffs in the lower center side of the screen?


Hardware and skill effects:

I have a 32gb ram ddr5, Nvidia 4080 + 14700k -> playing with mercenary and necro friends I drop from 165 fps to 50 when there's a ton of AOE effects.
I guess performance will be better at launch, but can we have the option to disable the spells / skills effects of other players?

92 titan here.

I feel like animations must be reworked, every warrior skill requiring +3 seconds to get active and with these slow recovery animation is insane. With armor being useless, getting locked at the place with these slow animations are a nonsense.

Exactly. At least if they want that warrior be the big dude that slams, don't get interrupted by a fly. Anything can't stop the animations and you are forced to roll out to retry.
I never see videos of other classes with cast times. Why did warriors get stuck with long cast times? It goes against the fantasy IMO. They need to balance it so that we don't have them. Take the damage down a notch, give it a longer cooldown, I don't care, but I don't want to play a warrior with cast times on every important ability.
Agreed on all points.

Did you also have an issue with the ui elements taking up too much of the screen? For example boss health bars hiding important mechanics you must avoid...

Never got that problem. Playing with an ultra wide screen.
I wish we could move the UI elements around. When I move things to the stash, it break my neck.
Same with Skill UI. Dropping gems from the right to the left is a chore.

There's an option were we can center the life and mana. I want the same one for the rest of the UI.
