Map Mechanics & Looting Need Updates ASAP

In terms of Breach, Ritual, Expedition and t15+ mapping. As well as some general things.

"
Things I think should be done to help mechanics give more stable rewards:
Breach should always spawn closer to the center of maps than edges.

Ritual should always spawn in spots where there is enough space.

Expedition should drop more logbooks, logbooks should be more rewarding.

Layouts with many small nooks, crannies, and long/ short corridors should be
reserved for boss maps, boss maps should not spawn mechanics on them.

"
Things I think should be done to help looting:
Copy neversink's default textbox size on their filters (default is way too small).

Make breach splinters drop in stacks or all in one spot after breach has ended (stop unneeded carpal tunnel).

Make relics drop in stacks or altogether after the expedition has ended (make expedition more worth the time, stop unneeded carpal tunnel).

"
Items nobody wants to see in t15+ (and should obviously have been removed from the drop pool from the beginning):

Armour bases that are not expert+ (no point, anything less is not possible to be an upgrade).

Armour bases with low base values (why advanced/ expert bases can even be a lower base value than normal, idk).

Common Charms (no point, we get plenty of these in the campaign).

Gold (not gonna go out of my way to pick up any gold anyway).

Picking up breach splinters one by one is giving me carpal tunnel. You simply cannot stop to pick things up while doing a dense breach. The difference in it's rewards are also too high when it comes to different layouts and placement RNG.

Clicking every relic, then every excavated chest so I can pick up more relics, makes the Expedition mechanic not worth running. Common valuable loot from mechanics must be consolidated for replayability.

Some rituals are a death sentence. There is not enough space. There is AoE that is trying to kill you from the mechanic. You are dead. It is bad.

The design of the default loot makes item hitboxes too small. The accuracy required to single out an item is too high. The items often have hitboxes that are not represented well by the text box. Worthless items show up too often. Just copy neversink's default settings. I'm sure he wouldn't mind you removing some of the work he has to do.

The funniest part about this is that they have loot consolidation for what you mentioned in PoE1. Expedition stuff automatically goes straight to your expedition locker as soon as you open the chests in the map.

There is some consolidation in PoE2 for this stuff, but it doesn't seem as "aggressive" in PoE2 as it is in PoE1.

Yeah, I know. It's a regression from PoE1, as stated in other threads I have posted.
I wish drops during maps were only currency orbs, special league stuff, gold and well rolled rares only. I really do not want to fill my inventory 3 times per map on random items that I need to parse to choose which to salvage/craft/vendor/list.
Give me gold and currency and I will gamble for bases to craft on etc. Any rare that drops I wish I was excited to identify and price check it. Give me one rare per map or less. I don't like filling tens of dump tabs then spending a couple hours parsing all of it.

I think automatically making rares valuable might be a step too far, but I'm 100% with you on the sentiment that it is simply too much clicking and sorting. In higher tier I believe they should remove lower tier bases from the drop pool completely.

If that ruins people's chances at finding a good wand or something, then the tier of where you can find good wands is broken, and they should fix that.
