Chaos Inoculation vs Poison Enemies

im sure theres many other posts bringing this same issue up, but simply writing this out to express frustration. i understand the game is still very early into early access, theres much that needs to be balanced and fixed, so just putting in my two cents.

im currently running a Level 80 Stormweaver Sorc, Spark/Archmage build stacking mana with the follwing Keystones.
Chaos Inoculation, Mind over Matter, Eldritch Battery, along with The Everlasting Gaze Azure Amulet. Ive got 3.2k of both ES and Mana, with fairly high resistances to everythin but Chaos which i have 0% res(no need to stack b/c ChaInoc)

Playing through endgame currently runnning T9 maps, clearing maps with relative ease, however any time i encounter the venomous crabs, or the snakes that spit poison, which both do high poison damage i start dying faster than i can react to. most recently encountered a Rare Slitherspitter with 'Extra Chaos Damage'as a boon, i was at full ES and roughly 95% mana when i turned the corner and encountered the enemy then roughly 2 seconds later i was dead. by this point i had cleared a majority of the map with ease so was not struggling due to map modifiers.

The only conclusion i can draw from my frequent sudden deaths to specifically poison enemies is that Poison damage for some reason will scale off of Chaos Res, but is not impacted by ChaInoc.

hopefully this can be fixed, or at least have a note made on ChaInoc that it doesnt work agaisnt DoT's like poison if that is the intended use case.

overall loving the game, GGG has done a fantastic job so far and i know you guys will keep up the great work
