Blasphemy does not recognize a curse socketed into it

As the title says, I put a Blasphemy gem on, put a Despair curse into it, but it says "Missing socketed skill". I have enough Spirit and attributes. Another weird thing is that it is unchecked to any weapon set by default and when I check weapon set 1 it does the turned-on-aura thing but it doesn't actually reserve the spirit nor apply its effect.

This happens only on one of my character. Tested it on another character and it works just fine.
