It really feels like being punished not playing spark

And this is not even about spark's build strength, just the way it plays can solve so many of the little things I found annoying.
If you bind left click to a skill, and your cursor is on top of a pot, you won't be able to use the skill, in an open map it's not a problem, but in a tight corridor map like crypt, there's already way too many spot on the screen you can't point and click to use the skill like the wall the pillars, but then there're so many I mean insane amount of pots in those maps, there's a chance you can get surrounded and never use a skill because the should-be empty space around you is just not empty at all.Even range character has this problem, and with WASD movement your left click is the best click, I don't think I can not using it. I get it from the environment design it fills the theme, but seriously, there are way too many pots in crypt. Solution: play spark, even if you cast a spark backward it will travel to your front and break all pots and baskets Like a strongbox casting lightning storm, it hits rather hard, if it's in a cave like map no other way to circumvent also rather dark, you can't really see where the monsters at without some help (like chronomancer's 20%, overwhelming presence, those things let the monsters have an effect near you, but I don't have any of that, blasphemy's radius is pathetic), walking over the "mine field" will chunk down my life and monsters might just waiting to finish me off, I can only aim at where would be monsters and use skill hoping to kill, well there's another problem, playing pcoc means you can run out of mana flask charges. Solution: play spark, you don't need to see anything with spark, as long as it's in your screen, giving time it will die. Like when rares die, they have this particular animation which will mask a lot of things ground effect, DD, meteor circle and such, and there's are loots blocking the sight, it's kind of easy to walk over and die because of something. Solution: play spark, you are never near monster when it's dead, by the time you clear the screen and walk over to loot, the dangers be gone. I mean none of these break the game, but once in a while you met it, you just feel gross about it, it's almost like a vile design to piss you off, unless you play spark Last bumped on Dec 31, 2024, 2:34:18 AM

" I invite you to check out my Spark build. The first 2:30 of the video shows almost all of the content in game atm. It's very beautiful and shows the graphics of the game to full potential even with the Chayula's rare finisher effect. It's my Fave :) I agree that spark is good, but the alteratives are bad. There always has to be a Best, Better build, for every class its unavoidable. If your goal is to clear more content and die less. The build could honestly be something you can learn to enjoy. In poe1 it was so popular they added a spark skill micro transaction and it was one of my favourite leagues. The next league it was nerfed some and I avoided it. Spark is among one the better skills for Sorc IMO, and I think a nerf will hurt the class and game in general. If you wanted something to compare spark with you can gear arc anyway you wish slot any possible combination of gems and you can never even touch a ritual or breach as your skill chains and the monster density is so great it overwhelms you in seconds = death. I found it hilarious I could kill Floor 4 Sekhema with Arc but I cannot touch a Ritual or Breach no matter what I do to the skills. This is not a complaint or a cry to fix arc, but rather a reason that I hope every Class gets 1 skill that is all content viable. I do have my feelings on rarity but if they nerf it I will gain 2000+ energy shield on spark and at least 50% cast speed. And thats not even running the "belt" or The "ring" You know what I speak of. Some may be mad that the devs took a long vacation but to be honest they are likely to come back more focused and do actual fixes and less nerfing. That really is my hope, and regardless of what they do the first 2:30 of the video for the spark build on my channel shows the beauty of the game. Almost every content is featured in that time frame. The problem is nerfing the build is very delicate because if players lose access to more content, I don't think that really is the "intention" to lose more access to content but it is the "EFFECT". There are plenty of thumbnails I see on Youtube that say 3 mil dps. Whether they are clickbait I will never know as I have little time for viewing. My sheet DPS on Spark shows 20k. Is Spark the real problem, I dont think so. But these are simple opinions and my thoughts don't count for much. Our fun is dictated by GGG and what they implement that we "can do". To much limiting and I enjoy less. It's that simple for me. One sad Exile Last edited by MFQUANT#4363 on Dec 31, 2024, 2:39:56 AM
