Ability to use the controller and keyboard and mouse simultaneously in Path of Exile 2

Greetings everyone!

I would like to raise a question regarding the controls in Path of Exile. Currently, the game allows you to use either a controller or a keyboard and mouse. However, I feel that being able to use both types of controls at the same time would add flexibility and convenience to the gameplay.

Why it matters:
1. Adaptability: For example, it's convenient to explore the map and fight with a controller, but for trading or working with inventory, a keyboard and mouse are much more efficient.
2. Accessibility: Some players, myself included, are used to using both devices at the same time for optimal control.
3. Increased comfort: This hybrid mode would allow everyone to customize the controls to their preferences, making the gameplay more personalized.

I realize that implementing such functionality may require additional resources, but I think it's a step towards improving the user experience. Many modern games already provide this feature, and it would be great to see it in Path of Exile 2 as well.

It's interesting to see what the community and developers think about this. If you support this idea too, let me know in the comments!

If I recall correctly, Johnathan Rogers has said in an interview that being able to switch between controller in maps and keyboard/mouse in hideout is something they have been asked for and are expecting to implement in the future. Of course they have a lot to do so we don’t know when that would be available. But I agree that it is really needed.
I want this. Moving items around in the controller when organizing your stash is a pain.
Another big issue i noticed when using a controller is when you are playing in random parties short allocation. The controller player will most likely lose all their drops because a lot of the times the only time the option A comes up to pick up an item is when the area is clear of mobs, so if there is a drop that is under the controller players name, but mobs are around the controller player can't really pick up the drop until most mobs are cleared, then they will get the option to press the A button to pick up the item. Where as a mouse kb player can pick up the drop as soon as it drops regardless if there are mobs around or not. So under short allocation an item drops for the controller player, but mobs are present, the option A doesn't appear, so the player can't pick up the item. Short allocation runs out and now the item becomes free for all and most likely grabbed by the mouse and kb players.

Also trying to use the controller to try and join a party is a pretty rough experience it can be very clunky and frustrating at times.
Totally agreed!
