Belts should have guaranteed charm slots with ilvl
|
There is almost zero agency when it comes to combating ailments and weaknesses your build might have with charms right now. We lost a huge amount of utility with the loss of flasks from PoE1, a change I am personally okay with because I never enjoyed flasks, but the RNG charm slot approach is not very good and makes it way too hard to use a basic function.
Charm slots on belts should work like potion rows work in Diablo 2, more or less. Belts with ilvl 1-30 should have 1 charm slot, 31-60 should have 2 charm slots, and 61+ should have 3 charm slots. Please drop this approach of putting charm slots on the tree and hiding the entire mechanic behind an affix. It's not very enjoyable at all and almost impossible to interact with. It's enough to make charms more efficient on the tree, not more accessible. Last bumped on Dec 30, 2024, 7:55:54 PM

I mean either that or add immunity back to the mod pool for health flasks. As it is you just get simmering and your favorite suffix and call it a day.

Sure, but I don't necessarily think we need to get into ailment removal on flasks when there's an entire system designed to replace utility flasks in the first place.

Completely agree. Especially since charm slots > 1 seem to be extremely rare. I haven't found even one belt with more than one slot in 150 hrs.

Yup, with losing our utility flasks for charms it hurts that having the full amount of charms relies on RNG
