Movement speed and charm slots should be implicit on every pair of boots / belt
I just crafted a pair of boots that would have been ~30 divines, but they had no movement speed on them, so they're borderline worthless. This is dumb.
Every pair of boots should have movement speed on them by default. Make it scale with item level. Same goes for charm slots on belt. Why is this a modifier? Just give every low level belt 1 charm slot and increase the number of charm slots as item power goes up. Last bumped on Dec 30, 2024, 3:55:01 PM

I am running with 67.8% movement speed and it doesn't seems match the game. What they should do is make maps smaller.

" This. I don't mind being slower. PoE 2 is supposed to be slower, which is totally fine. But IF we're supposed to be this slow, zones/maps have to be made smaller and some monsters need to be slower too. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

" There's not really a fault with your logic but there are cause-and-effect things that need to be looked at if maps become smaller: 1. Will maps still have the same total number of monsters [white, blue, yellow, boss, etc.]?? If not then how are drop rates adjusted? 2. If maps are smaller does that mean more can be done per hour?? If so do drops have to be adjected because of that? 3. If 3 breeches appear in a map that's enormous what happens if you spawn 3 breeches in the smaller map? More drop readjustment? 4. If maps are smaller will you have room to "kite" if need be?? ... I could probably go on but there's a whole pandora's box. I'm not saying it shouldn't be opened but you need to know that some work needs to be done to get rid of the "bad" things that are in the box :) |

Just remove Movement Speed and Magic Find. They serve no purpose as affixes.
Movement Speed should be a product your passives, skill animations and similar. Similarly drops should be a product of the content difficulty. The movement thing feels esp off in PoE2 because things like Deadeye have a skill called "Escapist Shot" and it's so slow and short on distance moved I'm 100% better off just moving, not dodging. Moving. As for Charms. Ranger side gets a slot. So I have one anti-freeze and one anti-stun. I don't feel like I actually need anything else. Tons of Charm effect nodes and I don't see the point in them. "Never trust floating women." -Officer Kirac
