Remove Ascendancy Skill Points from Trials

I absolutely detest the content and do not want to engage with it at all. However, you're forced to do it to unlock and progress a critical part of your build. I honestly decided I'd rather not play than slog through even longer versions of the trials two or three more times for all of the ascendancy points in their current form.

I enjoy a good challenge - Elden Ring was my GOTY and I have zero complaints about the overall difficulty of POE 2. But the risk/reward for the trials are terrible. You can waste a lot of time and walk away with garbage, and all the while you're dependent on RNG to determine whether you're going to have just a bad time or a terrible time.

Have the trials drop lots of good loot, but please don't lock core skills behind completing them. I won't be playing again until there's a major change regarding ascendancies or the all-or-nothing, RNG misery nature of the trials. I had a great time and got my money's worth for the campaign, but if you're wondering why people are bouncing off you can add +1 to the "Trials are terrible" column. Thanks.

I second this post. No mechanic that's meant to progress my build should be hidden behind these dumbass trials.Starting all over again when I die to something stupid bc I got shit modifiers before entering every door is irritating.

Yeah trails aren't going away, just accept that or move on. They'll add different trials down the road so you don't have only the 2 to pick from but having to do a trial to get the ascendancy points will always be a thing in POE.
While I managed to get all 4 done in Trial of Sekhemas, they should be less punishing, especially the last boss with that clock mechanic. While the boss is not that hard, having instant death on a mechanic that has nothing to do with this kind of game is stupid, at least they should provide a debuff instead of killing your character.

Otherwise, once the honor resistance is capped and good relics are added (such as extra 2 merchant stuff, move speed, dodge roll distance) the trials become a walk in the park for first 3 floors.
