140+ hours and ZERO currency.
140+ hours and not 1 Devine orb. This game is a boring slog where the loot is pathetic and to try and buy something from the bots or a no life player on the trade page is pointless when you don't get any currentcy. Oh you have to play even more and more to get some? Boring......
Waystones are pathetic as well. How is it the only thing to do is to play the mapping part after you finished the the campaign and you get zero waystones when you have run a map. Everything you have done is make the game ULTRA grindy to get absolutely nothing for your time spent playing. Already bored to death of the exact same 8 maps. Boring...... Stop making the game for the small few that play the game as a job and try making it fun for everyone. WHO CARES IF YOU GET LOTS OF WAYSTONES, CURRENTCY, AND GEAR. Oh that's right you'll have to listen the 2 people cry that they should be better than everyone because they have 10k hours.... sad.... As this game sits now it has to be one of the most boring, grindy, and unsatisfying game i have ever played but it looks good. Lol Lol sanctum and ultimatum, the worst 2 aspects of poe you make mandatory for ascension. It must make you all proud that gold farmers are spamming trade with ascension runs because they are abhorrent garbage with them being overly difficult only for the sake of being difficult. There is literally no point in playing the game because there is NO reward for doing so. No waystones, no currentcy, no gear, and a death penalty. You would have thought you learned something from POE and built upon that to make a more interesting game. Un-installed and won't be back...... Divines need to have their drop rate increased. I'm swimming in exalts though. Hundreds.

Seems its crucial to have IIR.
How much do you have on your Farming Char? |

" This right here, this is what's wrong with this game (and why PoE1 end game also always frustrated me to no end). No one should require a "farming" character stacked with IIR. Focus farmer, sure, like one built to handle breaches and other mob dense mechanics, but IIR farmer is the stupidest thing about this game and about PoE1 that it's such a requirement to avoid the drought. IIR and IQ needs to be baked into the game through emergent systems that players earn and build up naturally and through content focusing, not another gear grind. |

I only have 60% rarity and apparently it's nowhere near enough.
Doing T16 + 2 maps (vaal + alch). Juicing further with 4-5 towers in every area and getting absolutely no drops. Ran 10-12 juiced maps today and got absolutely nothing. Can barely sustain my T15 waystones. The game is just an unrewarding slog currently IMO. They need to completely remove rarity from gear and double or triple the amount of base rarity on every atlas node, then add addiitonal rarity to the atlas tree and waystones. " I am gonna ask anyway because you might install POE 2 again. Are you rushing the towers 1st then putting good tablets? Do you roll your maps with increased rare monster, increased quant and or rarity? Do you use distilled emotion to further invest in your maps? It may seem daunting at first but when you get a grip on how investing on a map makes return multiplicative, you'd have an easier time farming currency. " I don't have any rarity gear because none drops and I can't afford to buy any, because I don't have any currency, because no currency or sellable loot drops, because I don't already have the rarity gear. |

If you only care about currency to go on trade, increasing drop rate will just mean people will up the prices on trade anyway. Or do you think that if everyone starts getting 10 divines every map, they'll be selling endgame items for just 1?
Obviously the game needs lotsa work, lol, it's early access. It'll have 10 times more uniques, more crafting currency and options when done, etc etc. Definitely agreed that Rarity needs adjustment and needs to be a trade off with character's power if you do want it. But well. It's just a bit silly that you say you don't want to come back after seeing at most maybe 10% of what the game could be. Just take a break from it, there are way more frustrating things in it than low drops :p |

" At the moment the economy in the game is broken, if you played in Poe 1 you should know that people that less than divine put the price in chaos, but in Poe 2 happened a paradox, the trading floor is full of goods for 1 divine, although the price of these items can vary from 1 sphere elevation to 80. Also in poe 1 most builds start to work well when investing 40-60 divines, in poe 2, the amount starts from 60 because of the high inflation due to rarity and frankly big problems with kraft (it is in fact in the game there is no) because of this we have a big hole between the beginning of the atlas and the end of the game. And also greatly aggravates the picture of resistance, in order for us to change one thing, we need to find the right thing with the right resistance, usually it comes out significantly more expensive, when in poe 1 we could just change the element on the resistance. The problem with poe 2 is that a lot of the good practices of poe 1 were trashed and we started over. Not only were we removed from the craft bench, but we were also banned from changing runes in items. ✨ Beta tester Path of Nerf 👀 Last edited by spokipo#1869 on Dec 30, 2024, 12:19:51 AM
