firewall (with spell cascade & fortress) is causing my 4090 temps to spike
it just started doing this on friday. nothing else that i've been through while playing makes the temps spike to the mid 70's and above (which i know is perfectly within the TDP of the card, but hearing the fans ramp all the way up gets concerning). it DOES ramp back down pretty quick, which means the fans are doing their job, at least.
i think my bigger question is why it started doing it all of a sudden. the drivers are up to date, firmware is up to date, game is always up to date. Last bumped on Dec 29, 2024, 2:18:46 PM

Set minimum fan speed to 70% so you don't get fast ramps.
You have a cooler on the thing for a reason, let it cool the chip. |
