Question about Map Biomes.

So, this basically makes it you can target farm certain things a bit better.
So, how would we be able to identify which biome map is which?

Let me first start off about the world map.

Would this quality as a desert biome? Or is it the actual map itself (the look and feel of the map):


The blue zone here seems like mountain area right.
Desert is the encircled red
Yellow would be forerst biome correct?


Would this then be the swamp area?


so what constitutes a "water biome" then. And a Grass biome? Anyone knows?

You would be correct about the biomes yes.

Also, take note that most maps only spawn in certain specific biomes, and there also seem to be a sort of map rarity to it, making it so you find some maps more often than others.

Water Biomes seem to be the rarest Biome as of now and has a very limited amount of maps to it.

Mire, Bog, etc. are swamp-type.
