SUGGESTION: Tower & tablet rework idea

PROBLEM: Towers are fairly unpopular right now for a variety of reasons

Likewise, tablets are a bit problematic namely for the fact that


1: They are clutter (require item space)

2: The # of maps affected being variable makes 5-7 rolls of most tablets not get used in favor of larger ones

Lastly, towers can be ran with low tier waystones at no penalty



SOLUTION: Remove tablets entirely

Change towers to grant a random bonus upon completion to X affected maps in range

Make it so the tier of map you use in the device coupled with # of mods grants a higher chance at better effects + number of areas affected for completing the tower



This gives towers a greater purpose and gives players a reason to want to run higher difficulty version of them via better rolled waystones.

T16 maps could maybe provide a chance at truly special benefits.


I'd also consider updating the tower layout to be more like a normal map. It is currently too easy/quick to find the exit.

Also, make the tower have a random boss encounter at the end which can be failed to brick the tower. Fun!

Before they do anything like that they should redesign the tower map, its a minion play nightmare. And btw, its an semi good idea to put mobs that can go invis on maps where you have to kill all mobs

I do mention that I think the map could use an overhaul!
