Can someone explain Tiered Items
If I'm not mistaken the Tier of items isn't at all explained in the game.
Please tell me how items having tiers work. Asume I know nothing and the more fully you explain the happier I will be. Thank you Last bumped on Dec 28, 2024, 3:34:09 PM

Read this it will will help you get a basic understanding of item modifiers & their associated tiers.

Right now you dont need all that , its easy to group items in this patch :
Does it have high roll of rarity of items found? Yes - Good item. No- Bad item. |

" I've just read that and there is no information about item having a tier (item drops with info "Expert Mace T2"). |

afaik the tiered items have a floor for how low the mods can roll. so a resist might be able to roll as low as 5% on a normal item but on a tier 4 item the lowest it might be able to roll is 25% or something, dunno the actual numbers.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

" It's "more likely" for the item to have higher tier modifiers. So when you identify it, the item will generally not have low level mods, but it doesnt effect the quality of the mods. You're still more likely to get light radius, but it will be a higher tier. This does not mean the item is likely to roll good mods later. A tier 5 unidentified magic item has no bonus to "crafting" new mods on it. Also this does not mean non-tiered rare items are less likely to be "good". A 'regular' non-tiered rare item can be just as good or better than an unidentified tier 5 rare item. Personally i think this system needs work. Either make tiered items exclude useless mods, or actually display tier based on the quality of mods. I'm sure ive ignored plenty of good non-tiered rares because im tired of identifying everything, and switched to only identifying tiered rares. |

I tried google and youtube and I haven't seen precise explanation or answer to this.
No one have said how it works, only a "feel" or a guess :( Last edited by Bakubylozajete#1182 on Dec 28, 2024, 3:34:43 PM
