Bump. This happened to me as well in party play. Upon being revived by another player, I was stuck behind them and unable to do anything.
I poured BBQ sauce into my eyes, and I saw it. You want to know what I saw? Do you really, truly want to know...? I saw the true face of God, Exile. And it was vaaled... IT WAS VAALED.

Same thing happened to me. I rolled and got stuck in the guards and can't get out. Logging out didn't help, it just brought me back to the same spot.

I did find that you could hit escape and reset at checkpoint to fix this, but it happened several more times before I was able to beat the boss. I am playing WASD ranger.

I fucked up and logged out, so my map "reset" while still in the boss fight. I don't see the checkpoints anymore, I can't tp because I'm still in the boss fight. Did my character just get bricked because of this bug??
