does poe 2 fit the 3 month league model?

of course a good portion of that 3 months for most players is a "reset". playing for 1-2 months and then not playing at all for a while to prevent burn out and have more enjoyment from league to league.

but poe 2 requires many more hours to even just progress. with hundreds of hours you are still collecting towards your first simulacrum or breach stone, with next to no citadels found, etc.

you can't farm juiced maps and farm citadels effectively at the same time which makes it take even longer to try to accomplish both goals.

should poe 2 leagues be 4 months (or even 6) instead of 3 with more content and QoL from patch to patch, or should they speed up atlas progression, or what?

i can't see myself doing this grind every 3 months. all i've found since starting atlas (almost lvl 94) is 2 citadels, 8 atlas boss points, 1 expedition boss logbook, and 1 breachstone (bought 100 splinters off currency exchange to finish off the stone).

No way. Zero influence to run maps I like is killing me alone. Don't even get me started about rest of the game.

even d2 which is a much slower grind then d3 and d4.. people wanted 4 month resets

6 months is an eternity for these sort of games now days. if this game was designed around 6 mo leagues no wonder it feels terrible

considering most no lifers are blasting end game is under 24 hours

3 months will be to short but I think 4 months will be the sweetspot. ;)

It's not that it was designed for 6 month leagues, it's that the plan is to alternate between PoE 1 and PoE 2 leagues.

Game isnt even designed to stay alive 1 month into early access release, what 3 months leagues lul
If and when leagues start, GGG will release absolute slop as usual in last 3 years, say nothing for few weeks, do a subpar patch, say nothin for few months, launch another subpar league and rinse repeat
