Monster level 82 boss points do not drop

I finished a vaal foundry map with boss on monster level 82 (tier 16, irradiated and corrupted) but the book for the boss skill points did not drop... All that investment for nothing...

Did you already do one each of exactly 79, 80, and 81 (as opposed to say doing 82 twice)? It's possible the game is coded to drop one for each such level exactly.

I just had exactly the same thing, same map. Vaal Foundry, level 82 map, both irradiated and corrupted, killed the boss and no boss points. My atlas passives are exactly the same as OPs but my map had ritual and breach as well.

I am very sure I did not do 82 twice. I don't have many tier 16 maps and actually did 81 twice because I thought irradiated and tier 16 would be different to corrupted and tier 16 but both are 81. So I had to build a whole other cluster of towers specifically for both of them on one map.
Well and vaal another 10 maps for a tier 16...

I found another map with corruption and boss and hit irradiated on it. This time it was decay and it counted. So it is definitely an issue with Vaal Foundry!

The same thing just happened to me on Steaming Springs if its a map issue I don't think its just Vaal. The boss was not my last kill to clear the map so might be caused from that.

Happened to me in Crypt as well.

Same thing just happened to me. I have 6/10 boss points and completed a level 82 boss map. No book dropped. Spent a few hours trying to get the conditions right to finally get this and nothing. Discouraged to the point of quitting the season tbh.

I was having the same problem, so I changed the points on the map and it worked out. See how I placed the points:
