Changes for beginners POE 2
If you want new players, those who survived to Atlas (and did not quit the game) to stay in the game, you urgently need to do one of two things.
1) Or you need to rethink the complexity of the maps. I explain it constructively. Chaos damage from enemies on 1-4 maps must be eliminated as a phenomenon. Despite the experience gained, the new player still does not fully understand how he needs to develop his character, because it is on the maps that freedom for experimentation should open up, and by this point no one has enough resistance in principle, and there is no resistance to chaos. And most importantly, by this point there is no currency to somehow try to craft things for yourself, at least in search of resistance. There are no resistances, no currency, and chaos damage is simply killing. Rare opponents will be weaker and have fewer lives. Going out on atlas, I want to feel a little bit of freedom and finally enjoy the chosen character and his abilities. Because before that, there was no fun in the game. No currency, no resistance, no fun in the game. 2) Or you need to increase the rarity and the number of dropped items by 10 times. It's a joke, not 10 times, but so that each card has at least 1 sphere of kings and 1 sphere of elevation. Why it's important. I'm explaining. We are entering the maps, the difficulty is very high, you state in the promos that you can experiment a lot with character development in the game. So I went to Atlas, and I can't experiment. Moreover, I'm dying on t1 maps, and I'm not having fun. I lose experience, I don't get currency, and I can't make my stuff stronger. I'm trying to review the build, and I realize that I'm running into things right now. I've already experimented with passive nodes, and I've come to the conclusion that things are needed. But I can't get them because I have no currency, no currency - no way to experiment, no way to experiment - no way to survive on maps and have fun. I have accumulated a lot of white things, to which, as you said, you can simply apply all the currency that falls out at once, and not save it and get the result right away. But that was not the case, there is no currency, there is nothing to use. I saved up a lot of white stuff to try my luck and make myself things that would at least help with the resistances. But it doesn't make sense, because there is no currency. Why did I save up these things, I fell for your words. To be honest, I thought it would be more interesting on the maps, but I can't survive, I don't have any currency, and there are no experiments that you talked about so zealously at promotions. If there was a 100% chance that the above-mentioned spheres would fall from each card in at least one instance, I would have a feeling that I could become stronger and at some point I would still win. But alas. There is no currency, there is no pleasure, there is no desire to enter the game, there is no desire to support you. I spend a lot of hours, but I don't get any pleasure, and moreover, I get a negative experience, a very negative experience. And this, to put it mildly, makes me very sad. And it all boils down to the fact that, apparently, I will be able to receive satisfaction here if I somehow live to see t16 cards. Is it serious? that is, only when I will have spent 1000 hours and the game will come to an end? Overcoming it can be fun, but it's sadism on your part in its purest form. You need to change either the first or the second point, otherwise play this shit, please forgive me for saying that, but I spent a lot of personal time after work, hoping that at some point, the game will become more logical to the player, and I got a lot of negative experiences in your game. Therefore, apart from this complete shit, I can't name what happened. Last bumped on Jan 4, 2025, 8:27:39 AM

I Totally agree, we need easier ways to get chaos, and exp loss must be removed if it is to be kept like this.
I feel I cannot improve or advance, just instant deaths from nowhere.. It is depressing, frustrating, irritating and demotivating. Not just for me but for all my friends too, the game should be fun and enjoyable I a am not against some effort ina game. I am just a casual gamer, done elden ring and blackmyth wukong and despite there being tough bosses it was fun. You can just rinse and repeat, but this game as too many negatives to keep it enjoyable the way it is. |
