POE2 - Crashed on using +resistance permanent buff item

I was playing on Early Access for Path of Exile 2 when something unusual happened. I had just looted the +resistance item from the boss (only drops once per character) in act 1 on Cruel difficulty. Right after right clicking on the item, the game just crashed and it dumped me to my desktop. Upon re-logging back into the game, it reset me back at the entrance of the zone, but the +resistance item was no longer in my inventory, and the boss was already dead (and does not drop another +resistance permanent buff item since it's once per character). I am unsure if the +resistance permanent buff actually "took". If not, my character would permanently scarred with a reduction of resistances that all other players don't have and would essentially mean I'd need to delete my character and start over, again.

Is there a way to verify if the +resistance item actually got applied? I really don't want to delete and restart. 😕
