my fps is capped to at least 35 - 45 fps

Yesterday everything was normal, my fps was at 120, but when I opened the game today, my fps dropped to around 40 all the time. No matter how I adjusted or changed the settings, the fps didn't change.
I've tried repairing the game files and reinstalling the graphics card drivers. But these still don't help.
I try Dx12 and Vulkan it still doesn't work, Dx11 fps swings 15 - 100 all time can't play with it.
restart pc nothing has changed.
this happens on every map of the game.

I5-10500k
RTX 3060-TI 8GB
OS: Win 11 64-bit

im able to get around 80 in act1-3 with a 3930k & 2080 TI so you should be able to do 120+ hands down, is multithreaded rendering enabled? are you launching it from the x64 exe if using steam?

I'm not sure. The other day I just closed the game and went to sleep. The next day when I woke up it was like this. But before closing the game that day I remember the game had two cache issues. When the game froze the second time I closed the game and went to sleep.

I've tried deleting the Nvidia app a while ago, installing GeForce experience instead, deleting all non-core game files to reset them when launching the game, or even reinstalling directx, and switching from epic to steam versions of the game, to no avail. I'm now trying an older version of the Nvidia driver.

helped him reinstall drivers with a clean install, (nvcleaninstall) - most likely due to him using HDD and sketchy .vbs entries in autostart, gonna help him once he get back to the PC 2 days from now ^_^
