Bloodmancer Gore Spike node, no bonus crit damage

Gore Spike doesn't seem to give Crit damage

Unactivated Gore spike:
crit damage on hexblast is 193%

Activated Gore spike:
crit damage on hexblast is 193%

I have 2.959 health so I would expect there to be a decent difference.
Or did I misunderstand the node?
