Ancestral Spirits ascendancy has like 10 base damage at high level?

I only get to see the bleeding tooltip, which is 3-6 damage.

At least it's generating enemy health bars?

Edit: Or maybe I'm just misunderstanding the tooltips. Regardless, they don't kill anything if that was ever the intention.
