[2 New Currency Orbs] Orb of Alteration & Replica Orb of Alteration !!
So slightly similar in POE1 , where an orb of alteration would reroll the mods of an item on a Blue magic item ( which could have 1 or 2 mods on it ect ).
There should be a new Orb of Alteration for POE2 Item Must be Blue / Magic , also Must have 2 mods on it. May Re-roll 1 Random Modifier ( with an increased chance of lower tier Modifier) So that its not brokenly overpowered. Then we should have another currency. Replica Orb of Alteration !! Where its slightly similar to poe1 scouring orb, and orb of annulment. So instead of turning a magic item normal, or removing 1 random modifier. it should only work on blue items, and have a chance to either turn the item white or remove 1 of the 2 random modifiers. We very much need some form of Alteration and Scouring Orbs, feels bad getting that potentially great base helm for my warrior at lvl 40, rolling on it with a Transmute and getting +9 intelligence and that just being the end of that till I can find another base to try with. |

This is not PoE 1 guys..
" That's what they want you to do, there's a reason to pick up white items now and not just once, when you find the base you need. You also make greater use of transmutation orbs instead of just vendoring for scrolls. Orbs of regal are a lot more useful now too, and with exalts dropping more often you tend to craft more. They don't want you rolling blues until you finally hit that perfect regal, the mods, specially plus level mods are very strong now. If they introduced alts they would have to redo the mods on items. It's going to be okay lol, there's still plenty of alt's in PoE 1 which you can enjoy every new PoE 1 league. |

I would like to add my idea for an additional orb:
Orb of Permanence: Since this game right now heavily rellies on RNG and player has no control over what we craft, I think we should at least be able to fix modifiers we would like to keep. With Orb of Permanence we can make a modifier permanent and therefore it won't be affected by the influence of any other orb anymore. If you use it once, it will only protect the modifier. If you use it a second time on the same modifier, it will also protect its numeric value. Orb of Permanence should be rare to find. I imagine something between an Exalted Orb and a Devine Orb. Players may use it to protect the most important modifiers, or as many as he wants, if he has enough orbs. |
