PoE2 is just a worse verion of PoE1 but with better graphics.

The crafting is non existent compared to PoE1. We have like, 4 different orbs to use, and then for some reason "omens" which should just be their own currency of. Why are there Omens for prefix/suffix annuls and not just "Orb of Prefix Annulment" and the like?

There are no essences, there are no resonators/fossils, there is no crafting bench, there is no harvest, etc.

The mapping system is way worse. I think that it looks cool, and it's fun to scout around, but there's just nothing there. The towers exist for... what reason, exactly? Just to waste 5 minutes of your time and your lowest tier waystone?

Can't create a bunch of maps and then run them, you have to activate all the nearby towers before you're allowed to blast. The map layouts are almost all bad aside from like 4 of the layouts. They are too big, mobs are too spread out, not enough "juice" in them.

The skill tree is awful and provides very small amount of growth/progression and power. I could either get 30 more skill nodes, or go from a 500 to 550 dps weapon and see 3 times more impact.

Items are WAY too powerful and provide way too much compared to the skill tree. The skill tree doesn't let us solve any problems other than "do more damage" - and it's un balanced as fuck. ES nodes giving 30-60% increased ES? Are you INSANE? Who the hell balanced this (no one).

There simply aren't enough skill gems to even bother 6 linking abilities. There aren't enough gems baseline. Skills being "weapon locked" is bad design and further pigeon holes you into building "your build" and using "your preset" abilities to combo with eachother.

Die once = map gone
Maps resetting on death (leveling)
Too many on death effects.
Not enough meaningful or useful crafting.
You can spend 6 ex worth of currency crafting an item that sells for less than 1ex on the trade site.

It's like all the issues GGG has solved in PoE1 over the last 4 years have been recreated in PoE2 for no reason. Why did you unlearn what you already learned? It makes no sense.

And yeah the ES nodes are craaaazy like 12% per small travel node? When you get 5-6% in PoE 1 lol
