Help, can't complete Quest!

I killed Ekbab in the Bone pits for like 15 times and still no Mastodon Tusks dropped in the quest "The trial of corruption". I can't proceed further on. I need urgent help. Please fix it.

I really love this game but this is so frustrating.

It happens to me and my friend as well. We did not end the boss first try, then it doesn't loot the tusks anymore.
Tried it 3 times, killed the mage before the steed, no tusks, and quest still active.

How can we progress further ?
