The controller vs wasd vs mouse and keyboard is a problematic split

Ignoring the fact that you can't swap controls while playing, which is an entirely separate issue, the inability to use mouse while controller is active and the inability to use wasd while mouse is active or vice versa is really annoying.

The very obvious problem is that the controller menus are incredibly clunky. I know efforts have been made to fix this, but Path of Exile 2 menus are just so detailed that controllers will never be able to comfortably navigate them. Why can't we save our wrists by playing controller for game and mouse for menu?

As it is, I already use my mouse to move around my hideout even in wasd mode

that makes to much sense so we will never be able to

Except you can do it in genshin impact and most of it's clones.
