Renly's tools (Smithing tools)

The smithing tools do not appear. I find Renly's forge in the Ogham Village but it's totally enmpty. I think this might be caused by the fact that my friends (in the same party) already had this mission done on their other characters, so when generating the map (Ogham Village) it didn't generate the smithing tools?? I have tried changing servers and rebooting the game but they still don't appear in the forge...
