Cannot revive partymates in maps?
what's the point of co-op if you can't cooperate?

We're waiting for an answer? What is the point of playing together if you cant cooperatively play together?
You put in a resurrect mechanic, and then you can't resurrect when you were with your team? What is the F U C K I N G point of playing together. We have a 30 person group of friends that bought this BS and we want to be able to CO-OP OR get a refund. We are all over this cashgrab of "accessing" your half baked unrewarding fake version of path of exile. POE 1 is miles and miles better than this travesty. you guys spent more time making a romantic black dessert mini map of the map nodes than you did thinking about basic user experience? Yep this basically made my buddies do a 180 on this game. You want my friend to wait in my hideout while I finish the map? FOH...

lol support has time to remove my comment but didn't play their own game when they made a res system you can't use to res people?

One death per map, not a hard concept.
You play with others to... play together. It also makes things harder, but increases rewards. |

" We have really strong relationships in my friend's group. including local NYC friends - and I feel guilty getting my friends into the campaign, and saying "maps will be better" and somehow it's worse than campaign? In campaign you can pick up your friends. In maps you can't? So the teamwork and groups you develop are for not. That is truly heartbreaking. Imagine couch co-op and your loved one just sits there dead. It's so beyond inconsiderate. Last edited by MrSeanG#9405 on Dec 22, 2024, 1:25:09 PM

" It is not that the concept is hard to grasp. It is that it is not a good "concept". Most importantly, someone being unable to be brought back into the "playing together" aspect of your statement: is the issue. They can only go to the hideout, which further encourages them to solo maps, as it doesn't further penalize your relationships. in short it is discouraging to co-op. This is further compounded by a 2nd player being present in person. I convinced some people to try it, and in maps they died. Guess what they did? "nah, I'm good, this is trash - I don't need to sit here and watch you. I can do that without wasting my time, go ahead enjoy this game." From a user journey here are the milestones: 1. you play together, with friends 2. you build relationships with friends 3. you convince said friends to buy into this game 4. game has res mechanic in campaign, campaign is to drive you to end game 5. you get to end game, and the entirety of my 56 person poe2 group is frustrated. The number one gripe(after the time wasting nerfs vs fixing the game's real issues) is "we can't effectively play together. it isn't worth the penalty and time waste." In poe 1 you might have burned your portals. In poe 2 you can't even do that. Worse yet, there is a res AND you can't use it. This is a new option GGG introduced AND it does not work/you're not allowed to use it. This 100% defeats the purpose of it being in the game. poe2 needs to seriously reconsider this. Reviving in general is a bit of a cluster Fu**, especially on a boss fight. How can someone get a revive off when you’re constantly on the verge of being 1-shot, or being interrupted by adds. Seems like a pointless mechanic currently.
