Contagion also spreads Despair eventhough the wording doesn't say it should

I actually really like that contagion spreads despair, but according to the wording it shouldn't.

Wording
Contagion -> when dead spread the afflicted chaos damage over time to others

Despair -> Does not have chaos damage over time


Unexpected
Contagion -> when dead spread the afflicted chaos damage over time to others and also spread afflicted despair to others

It is even more than that

I assume it is a hidden behaviour because of the decaying hex support
if that was socketed I'd expect contagion to spread it as it is a chaos dot but because of this a flag is probably set for contagion to spread the curse debuff even though it shouldn't per the wording
