Hard Crash in Apex of Filth

I'm getting an unresolvable hard system crash in the Act 3 zone, Apex of Filth.

The game does not crash on loading, and I am able to re-enter the zone after log in back into my character. I can portal out to town, and play any other zone without issue.

However, if I attempt to play through that zone, invariably, after between 1 and 5 mins moving about the zone, my system will completely crash. My computer will black screen, and then my monitors will lose all signal. I still get POE2 music playing in the background, but that's the only indication the system is still working. My only course of action at this point is a hard reboot.

Upon re-loading the character, I will be back in the zone, with all items still in my inventory, no lost progress. However, unless I portal back to town, I will 100% encounter the issue again in short order. Resetting the zone seems to have no effect.
