Energy Shield if Consumed Power Charge is useless-ish.

On consuming a power charge the max energy shield gets a 20% increase for only 4 seconds.

Case 1. Consuming charges during the fight.
That is what you do as a monk. Though, you get the boost to the maximum energy shield. It does not regen 20% of it, and the fact that it is kinda imposible to regen shield during the fight anyway makes the boost useless.

Case 2. Consuming charges before the fight.
Well. The boost lasts only four seconds. You also need to somehow get or keep charges before getting into the action for a substantial amount of time. There are nodes for that, but that is not the point. The point is 4 sec. It is not enough for this case.

The claster of these nodes is pretty early on the tree to get any benefit from it.

I was just trying Energy Shield If Consumed Power Charges and yeah, it's pretty lame, first of all I didn't realize it only lasts 4 seconds, and second of all you are right, mid-combat you're not going to regenerate Energy Shield fast enough to regain that extra Energy Shield you gained from this, so considering that and that you have to continually fuel it by spending Power Charges... yeah, it's a bit of a let down.

If it lasted for longer I would reconsider, but 4 seconds is pretty bad, even if the increase could be substantial.
Exposure from incinerate 4 seconds is also a meme. It takes a good 2 seconds just to charge up incinerate. What's with the 4 seconds garbage? We have tons of combo skills and the need to dodge enemies now, you can't accomplish anything in 4 seconds in this game.
Was hoping it would regen the shield, but just increasing max for a few seconds is as useless as it goes. Unfortunately, monks still need those max charge nodes, so we still need to get that 4s shit on the way…
