Infested Barrens Stone Pillar Softlock

Lost the gem required to put in the alter somehow. It gives me the prompt to put it in, but the animation follows my mouse rather than locking in and putting it in the alter. Water level doesn't go down.

Tried logging on and off, tried a different server, even tried killing the boss to try and get another gem but still the same bug.

I don't know how it happened, might have been going to first 3 acts to do some stuff I missed but not certain.

im having the same issue cant progress at all
