Ancestral warrior totem skill and stomping ground support

Condition:
Equip and socket ancestral warrior totem with a mace travel skill, I used Stampede, and also stomping ground support.

Expected result:
Ancestral warrior should use the travel skill and trigger stomping ground when taking steps.

Actual result:
You trigger stomping ground once when you "stomp the ground" to summon the ancestral spirit totem, and this will continue to happen even as you unsocket the mace travel skill and despite the stomping ground gem being greyed out.
