Petrify statue in Ultimatum trial can block elevator lever

This occurred in the retrieve 3 soul cores mission in which one of the soul cores is up an elevator on the second floor. I had previously selected the difficulty option that adds petrifying statues. One such statue spawned next to the lever that calls back the elevator from the second floor, preventing my character from moving into position to interact with the lever and softlocking the encounter.
