Passive Skill Tree needs more descriptions/info

Hello,

Sorry I'm new to PoE2, I'm still learning and have been very confused about a ton of info in game.

The reason I am making this post is like the title says about information or lack thereof in the passive skill tree. so far in the past week I have deleted 10 characters due miss leading information or no information at all. Most of my issues come from guess, what does this do? what does it mean? and how does this work?

For example: Monk: what is darkness??? there is no description in game, there is no reminder text, there is no info, I wanted to make a dark monk that does chaos damage and have darkness abilities or something. I put points into Darkness think something cool would happen by the brief description is gives at the cost of all my spirit just to find out it's just an extra energy shield... nothing special... no extra effects or cool visuals just another bar that absorbs damage... why can't it just tell you that in the tree??? now I feel like I wasted my time and a character for nothing...

Example 2: Reality Render adds Chaos to your attacks at aa very very low chance rate, that I get, but what it doesn't say is if I can increase the damage that the chaos does with other nodes in the passive tree from the Witch side??? no clue!

There is another node in the Passives Tree called "Madness in the Bones" and that gives 6% Chaos extra damage does this stack with Reality Rending? or merge with it to increase the chance overall? No clue... nothing clarifies my questions on trying to make this character work.

I have realized that my dream of monk using purple flames in this game might not be possible, Monk only has 2 skills interact with chaos, "Mantra of Destruction" only allows for 1 attack at a 30% conversion to chaos which isn't worth the effort of trying to go all in on just 1 option for a buff that really gives me no benefit.

I like how the skill has videos with narration, and I would like to see the ascendancies with that as well so I know what I'm getting into before I pick one that I can't change and have to delete just to make try again.

Sorry if this comes off as a rant or crying, that's not my intent. If we can't change Ascendancies, then there needs to more info about how these passives work and what they do so people especially new people like me, know or have a better understanding of what all this does, because the passive tree is very overwhelming at first, and with little to no info on a lot of it, navigating the tree can be pretty rough especially when you guess then have to respec after.
