8pm-12am EST lag spikes every 10 seconds, consistent, server doesnt matter
|
Game plays great during the day. When 7:45-8:00 PM rolls around, latency suddenly makes the game unplayable. Every 10 seconds the latency spikes from 20 up to 500ms, this lasts for about 4-5 seconds, then like clockwork it occurs again 10 seconds later.
Everything stutters, audio, video, etc. System: AMD ryzen 5 7600x, 4.70 GHz 64 GB of ddr 5 6000 AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT Samsung SSD 980 PRO 2tb GIGABYTE - B650 AORUS ELITE AX (Socket AM5) USB 3.2 Gen2 AMD I use fiber internet, speedtest and latency tests on other games or servers remains steady and excellent during the same time POE2 poor latency spikes. My Washington DC region ping on login screen is around 20-50 depending on the time, even if experiencing this constant latency spike in game. This is happening consistently every night. Great game so far, but this type of bug will kill it. Last bumped on Dec 24, 2024, 11:16:04 AM

Forgot to mention...
I've tried ctrl-click and starting a new zone instance, this does not help. I've tried connecting to another server on login, then ctrl+click reset the zone instance to the new server. Still experience the same latency spikes. Restarting my game, pc, router and network does nothing to fix the issue. https://ibb.co/0ctvwBj screenshot of the spike showing a 10 second window Last edited by Deagled#3498 on Dec 19, 2024, 11:27:05 PM

Another unplayable night. Worked fine this morning. Tonight crazy network latency every 10 seconds for 4-5 seconds.

Last night and tonight more of the same.
Based in southeast US. VPN was reported by other players as helping, but made no difference for me. Surfshark connection from NY, ATL, MIA, HOU - all of them experiencing the same poor server connection. Tested my internet connect again - definitely no issue there locally. Seems to be on the server side. Unplayable. |

Played well for 15 minutes this morning, now servers are acting up again. Christmas Eve I guess, servers cannot support all of the connections.
Super fucking weak. |
