What should I do with my Unique Vaal Pyramid Map?

So I found this recently:


I'm trying to decide if I should sell it or run it. I'd like to run it, but it depends on how much they sell for.

If I do run it, should I chisel it to 20%? I heard that IIQ/IIR doesn't affect chests, but is this also true for the map quality bonus?

Is it worth it to level up 5 other characters to 60 to multibox it for 250% increased IIQ?

Maybe, but just imagine your disappointment when, despite the massive amount of rare items you find, all of them turn out to be crap and you merely end up walking away with 6 inventories full of rare rings and amulets that you vendor immediately.

We usually do it this way, run it at least once (everyone in the regular mapgroup has to do it once), then trade all the others :)

You'd also have to buy and bunch of equipment with iiq to run it. Think it would be cool to run but seems like other peeps have the set up already to run it. God my mind just keeps going in circles. Sell it, then cry?

Some general advice... quit trying to min/max everything and do what you think might be fun.

Step 1: Chisel Map

Step 2: Get 5 good friends who will share the loot (or if you're really so inclined, multi(box/client) 5 other toons)

Step 3: Get naked, have about 1-3 stacks of Wisdom scrolls per person in inventory and nothing else

Step 4: Run that map and loot for all you're worth.

IIQ does absolutely nothing to chests/barrels. IIQ/IIR only gets applied to monster kills.

The party increase is actually more items being dropped (similar to what maps use) from everything (as far as I know), so it works slightly different in terms of what IIQ does from gear

IIQ/IIR does not affect Chests, only Monsters :)

Bring five friends is all, to get the most of it :D

If you do group up with people don't all enter the portals at once and assign portals:

Get a party of 5 other TRUSTED people you know...make them agree to not keeping anything for themselves. With a 6 man party, the amount of loot from a chest will be quite large. You're bound to get something good...Anything worthwhile you find, either you or them will keep it in their inventory until the end of the run.

Make sure you bring TONS of wisdom scrolls...like hundreds.
