Suggestion: Let us buy higher tier waystones

i actually experienced the same thing where i was at t7-8 but i fucked up a few times and suddenly my nearest map was T3. (yes i did fail a huge lot of maps as my gears were shit back then).

i am NOT experiencing this problem now that i am stronger and have unlocked more atlas nodes that i am getting more higher tiered maps.

but i really understand the frustrations of having to refarm from a lower tier map to get to a higher tier one.

my suggestion is that for doryani will start selling you maps, at least 2 tiers lower than your atlas progression. so if you've cleared the t10 atlas passive bonus, you can start buying t8's from him.

this bonus has a limit where doryani will not sell you maps over t10. this SHOULD help players a great deal with their mapping problems because by t10 you should have enough atlas passives to juice up your maps that you're getting excess maps.

the maps sold is unlimited, the same way you can buy t1 maps repeatedly. however as a "punishment" for relying on him this way, the maps sold this way will cost a lot of gold.

this prevents abuse but at the same time allows players to work towards buying maps if their rng is bad.

it also allows players to avoid having to rely on trading to get the maps too.

also, if you're at a higher level and doing better, it incentivizes you to sell off your lower tier maps since you no longer need them.

mapping is especially harsh when you first start off and have no atlas points. we need this crutch if 1 portal /map is a thing.

another solution would be if you die in a map, at least it returns just a white version of the waystone you used. one try map approach currently is messing with waystone sustainability. i'm in the same situation where i don't have higher tier maps and trying to farm through up again and it's not fun.
Yeaaaaah, I really don't like having to run t5's and t6's to try to replenish my supply of mid-tier maps. I'd rather just try to polish my play in the maps that challenge me instead of grinding for drops trying to progress.

I'm not even dying all that much, maybe once in six to eight maps, and I just can't sustain the waystone demand.

You need quantity of waystones and 50% chance to drop higher tier passives, if you want to advance fast.

Also, the waystones you do should be rare. Rare ones have at least double chance increase compared to magic waystone.

So you will have to regal / alchemy your higher tier maps.

When you look at the atlas, you see stuff like "waystone rarity"
Who cares about waystones rarity, when no one can sustain maps ???
Im currently at 4 / 8 of my T6 map completion and I'm now out of waystones and I've been purchasing them for exalts. This gameplay loop feels horrendous if this is what they wanted. It will cost me 72,000 Gold to buy 1-T6 Waystone. They need to adjust something because the way it is now feels absolutely terrible.

yeah i already specced into higher tier and quantity waystone in atlas tree but sometimes i ran maps with 300%+ didn't drop single waystone or dropped t1/t2 garbo.

also if waystone nodes mandatory in atlas tree what's the point having other nodes? waystone drops should be fixed and atlas tree provide more diversity based on content rather than increasing droprate of waystone. it's like ms on boots. %30 ms blue boots are far superior than like 3 res + max life etc. godlike 6 mods rare boots.
