Trade without having to be in the same zone.

Can we get trading where we just have to be in the same party, and not in the same zone? some of these maps are a huge pita to zone in and out of, like the ascendancy trials, it would be super convenient if we could trade cross-zone, reducing UN-necessary loading screens and lag. I have to imagine this is possible. Get on it GGG.

I honestly really love visiting people in their hideouts and seeing what their "home" looks like. Vice versa. I feel like this change would take this away. Trading in POE has a cool social interaction aspect I personally appreciate.
But I can see how for someone who has played POE for 4 million years it's likely just an annoyance. |

would be perfect for bots, instead of having to return to the master hideout they could directly trade to that one char standing at the central stash
age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

" This is may be true in PoE1, but who has different hideout in PoE2? Game is new, most people still don't have or just started their hideouts, so everywhere is the same. I don't see any cool decoration items to buy like in PoE1. For me PoE2 has too long loading times to bother, especially that even using wp opens world map which has been designed to be behind the next loading screen, ugh :/ Really not fun. " Cause the game is still in early access..... making hideout decoration and more hideouts isn't really at the top of their list of things to do. |

GGG will not go for it. Same reason we see other people in town in Poe 1 with their annoying mtx troupe pet playing same tune for millionth time. You need to see cool hideouts, mtxs and such, so you buy them. They addressed it in the past already, no way hose.

the reason might be technical, there are 10+ gameservers around the world where people play and their gamestatus and items are saved on certain ingame events (instance change, high value currency use) on the master servers in dallas/texas.
a char sending a item to another player would need to trigger another save event to the central servers and i don't think they want players being able to precisely trigger those save events. it certsinly has to do with game security. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

" Yes, the drumming gremlins do get annoying. Like I don't even equip em anymore ngl. :D But it's magic to new players. It was magic to me. Is it in the end a money farm for the company? Yes. But that doesn't change the fact that it was magic to me and will be to others. Last edited by BaldrOizys#7884 on Dec 18, 2024, 7:12:02 PM
