Decaying Hex questions please !

Guys or GGG can you confirm if Decaying Hex support gem scale up in dmg from increased effect of curse? since it has "curse" gem tag.

but it doesnt show the dps on the skill panel so its hard to say.. but since it has "curse" tag i should work similar to how bane does in poe 1 right? but anyways if anyone can confirm this ill be grateful ! ty

Curse effect never affected Bane in PoE1 and doesn't affect Decaying Hex. They have a curse tag because they interact with curses.

The only case I can think of is when you use them with Despair. This curse lowers chaos resistance (in both games), so increasing its effect imroves the damage from Bane and Decaying Hex, since they deal chaos damage.

right yes i was confusing Bane interaction with curse effect with death aura interaction with aura effect my bad. . tho regardless i do think that decay should be affected because its hard to scale .. . its very weak even after the 2x buff and its not spell so it doesnt scale with spell dmg and it isnt ailment so it doesnt scale with ailment and there are not damage over time multi in poe 2
