lag spikes, rubber-banding

I was just running the trial of sekhemas and experiencing massive lag spikes, my FPS was stable. It was particularly bad when in rooms with lots of fire traps, or lots of enemies. My character would slow down like moving in slow motion for a bit and then speed up and teleport across the screen. Looking at the PoE discord servers I saw many other players reporting the same issue in both trials and other activities (campaign, maps). I haven't had these issues over the past week, so I suspect this is just temporary server issues. FYI I am connecting to the Australian servers.

Same. Australian server, massive lag spike today in campaign. The character stops moving every 2 seconds or so. And got disconnected from server every 15 minutes.

Lagging like crazy in Australian server, open deli or breach and i freeze for a few seconds then zoom forward.

This is an old problem. A response from ggg, to understand if the problem can be solved or not, would be appreciated.
