POE2 Xbox Series X crashes on launch

Hi folks,

I’ve just bought the POE2 early access on my Xbox Series X and installed the game. When I launch the game, I see a splash screen for a second and then the video output from my console stops. My TV shows no signal.
I have to manually reboot the console to get it to respond again. This has happened every time I’ve attempted to launch the game, so far I have not been able to play. Is there anything I can do?

I managed to fix the problem by disabling all HDR settings on my Xbox.

I noticed when I was trying to launch the game, that before it crashed my whole console, my TV’s built in notification that appears when HDR contend is detected was flickering on and off weirdly (never seen this behaviour before.)

I went into my Xbox settings > TV & Display Options > Video Modes (on the right column under the “advanced”heading.)

From there, I unchecked Allow HDR10 & Allow Dolby Vision.

The game works now. I hope this helps someone else, best of luck.

So, not sure if might be TV specific which might work but, holy crap gotta say that remedy solved the same issue I was having and this is on a Vizio tv. However on the Xbox itself I just unchecked the option for Dolby Vision for Gaming but left the regular version and left the HDR10 boxes checked and I'm not having any issues anymore. In-game options I'm running it with FSR set to Quality and for the Detail Settings I just chose the Shadows option. The other option looked weird to me no matter how I had the Bloom adjusted lol.

All in all my rambling is to say thank you for finding out this solution as it helped my situation out! :)
