Decapitation of Eamon

I'm a progress player and I skip through the story most of the time. However the Decapitation Scene of Eamon interrupted my playthrough and I had to stop playing for a while, not because it was brutal but because of the reaction of his wife Leitis, which gave this scene a way too realistic, disturbing context.

Don't get me wrong: for story players this might be an excellent scene to build up tension and connect to the story. I'm not making any suggestions to remove it, I'm just saying that it harshly disrupted my playthrough.

I had the opposite reaction. It was at that point I decided the acting might be good enough to make listening to the other NPC dialogues worthwhile, as up until then they were pretty flavorless and not terribly interesting IMO.

I have not regretted this decision, and I have gone through almost every NPC's dialogue options, and they've all been quite good with only one or two exceptions. The world feels more real when the characters in it are believably concerned for what happens to it, themselves, and other NPCs.

I do kind of want to smack Alva around when she says, "Personally, I've never been hurt while treasure hunting. I actually find it rather easy!"

You pretentious sow, I wonder why you've had it so easy!

Mostly because she sent us into the time portals to do all the killing for her. xD I think she tagged along whenever we challenged the temples, though?

And not once did those bums attack her! They were all focused on the flashy-looking exile with questionable fashion sense!

I'm guessing Viper is now your favorite character in the game. :P
