error launcher with new patch

hello this morning i have a download 62.60 MB for launch POE 2 bug i have message error


could not overwrite executable with new patched executable. Please make sure that poe.exe or poe.tmt are not still running. if necessary, you may to need reboot your computer.

but i have restart my computer he don't work ...

HELP I WANT PLAY ^^

i got the same error.

Temporary renaming of the directory "%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile 2" fixed it for me.

hi, got the same issue but found the solution on reddit,
1. you need to find your path of exile 2 files,
2. find PathOfExile.exe and PathOfExile.tmp,
3. move or rename PathOfExile.exe
4. rename PathOfExile.tmp into PathOfExile.exe.
5. you can launch your game

I tried what u wrote above, now it wants to redownload the entire game again, is that what u meant? 86gigs

Did work for me

that solution not working for me. So now what? deleting poe 2 folder uninstalling and then re-installing fixed the issue for me.

You can try on reddit maybe someone has an other solution for you

Same problem, removing pathofexile.exe and renaming pathofexile.tmp to pathofexile.exe made it download 600+mb of data and launched
