Game Always Launches on the Wrong Monitor

Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue where Path of Exile 2 always launches on the wrong monitor. When I manually change the settings, they get reset every time I restart the game.

Clarification:
I don’t want to change the monitor setup in my system settings – my current monitor arrangement is correct and works for everything else. I just need the game to respect my monitor preferences.

Question:
Is there a way to permanently set the monitor for Path of Exile 2? Maybe through a configuration file or a specific in-game setting?

I've had the same problem since beta launch day. I have 3 monitors and after a fresh OS (Win11) boot always starts on the primary monitor. My gaming monitor is not my primary monitor.

I can go into settings and assign the proper monitor, click save, and it moves the game to the correct monitor. As long as I don't reboot, I can exit and restart the game and it will restart on the correct monitor.

If however I reboot my machine, it will always start back on the primary monitor.

Thats exactly the same problem i have. After Saving Settings and closing game and open again, it opens in correct monitor.

Just after PC Restart, the settings somehow are gone.
