Watchful Twins death to ground effects (no Map completion)

When I fought and killed both Watchful twin bosses, I died to their combined ground effects. The loot dropped and everything, which I wasn't able to collect (I understand this and it is fine). The problem that I had though was the map Icon still suggests I need to kill them for my map completion. I can't reset them to kill them again since they already died but I also am not getting my map update.
