Too little transmutation orbs for current crafting system?
I was wondering if I am in the minority when it comes to the amount of transmutation they have. I have literally always 0 transmutation orbs.
The game wants us to pick up bases and craft on them. For that we need either a transmutation orb or an essence. Since bricked blue items are forever bricked, transmutes and essences are vital. Per area (Act 4) I get around 1-2 transmutes by pure drop (very rare) and disenchanting blue items. But I pick up ~5 interesting bases which I need to improve my gear. This is a hard mismatch. I really struggle to actually craft anything. Do I understand something wrong? Last bumped on Dec 16, 2024, 1:42:47 PM

" definetly the minority. i have over 600 in stash and they are basically worthless in trade. you can buy like 300+ with one exalted if you want to Also if you are still in campaign, dont underestimate vendors, they can sell some insanely good stuff. Check them every level up. Slamming Orbs istn the only source of decent gear Last edited by c0refreAk#2874 on Dec 16, 2024, 1:36:05 PM

Shops reset inventory every level. They have 2/3 of every base type many of them with 2 affixes. Pick a promising one of those.
Game drops more augments than mutes. continue disenchanting to keep your stock of mutes high. Don't rely on crafting every base type. I'd mute last. Even a two socket base type probably a wasted mute. |

" I check them every level up, but for example gloves roll a lot of leech/attack damage stuff which is useless to me. Same with rings. " So what do you do with your transmutes? |
