GGG, This isn't fun anymore.

Hi,

First of all, I would like to notice that I'm not a new player who is discovering the franchise.
On POE 1 on Steam I have 2.2K hours of play and certainly more x4 on native launcher (since I have switched).

PS: I'm also french and please forgive me if I misspell something (or have an approximative grammar, I do my best).

Beside that, I consider myself as an average+++ player, as during these many years I have never managed to kill end game bosses. I'm still a total noob on crafting (it's way too complicated for me) and not good at building creation (that's why I follow guides written by smarter guys than me).
It's certainly not a good excuse, but maybe it's due to the fact that I'm 55 years old and some concepts are far above my head. Anyway I enjoy POE1 even if I never defeated and game bosses (and also high tier maps).

And by the way, I enjoy summons.

That's for the context; now come back to POE2.

I've my new adventure started as witch (what else :)). Difficulty seems good (even if some bosses may surprise you with one shot).
The first ascendency arrived and thank you, it was a multiple "free" retry.
I've continued the campaign and with the second ascendency trial... damned, it's punishing. I have to level up beside and come back later to finally finish it (only because the final boss was different than the other tries).

I've reached the endgame at level 54 (I don't know if it's good or bad. It seems to me that it's an average level for end game).

I'm currently at level 74 and I could only manage tier 4 maps. But why ?

Because I have poor gear (I stopped trying to craft because of a lack of currency)
I have only my 4 skeletons + 2 skeleton warriors from my mace and my infernal hound) and can't reach my level 3 ascendency !!! (Damned, what have you done to zombies ?).

Gear I certainly better at higher-level maps but I can't reach them.

Because of poor loot, it took me ages to assemble the exalt needed for level 60 Djinn Barya (currently priced at 6 exalt).
I've tried at least 7 to 10 times (I've lost the exact number). 99% of the time, killed by traps (I have nearly 4,1K honor). I’ve reached only once the final boss at level 3. The scorpion killed me in 10 seconds (I reached it with half of my honor). It's jumping around everywhere and seems to target you (It was so quick that I did not manage to understand any pattern).
I'll not waste any more time in Djinn Barya.

I've looted "accidentaly" a level 75 trial of chaos "gem". I was thinking, let's give a try. It's supposed to give access to the same thing. It's just nother way to obtain the class ascendency.
Well, it took me 3 seconds before I died...

At this stage, my only chance to enjoy the game is to find someone who will help me obtain my ascendency point. This will certainly not happen, as I could not afford myself a required map (because I'm lacking currency and I'm feeling that I could not loot the correct level of Djiin "gem" at my current map tier level).
Also it seems that users "helping" that are charging "the service" which I can't afford (I understand that, people are spending time carrying other people).

Once again, sorry for my grammar or spell checking. It's only my resentment at the current stage of the game (I'm aware it's version 0.1 and things may change in a better way).
