"Stomping ground" stopped working after gem swapping/ sup gem expansion

worked fine all day with shield charge. then i created a leap slam and stuck it in there... works fine... after taking it OUT of leap slam and putting it back into shield charge it stopped working on BOTH skills...

of note. this did occur right after i found and used my first support gem expansion item on a completely different skill and shuffled around all my sup gems

Same thing happening to me. It doesn't work with Shield Charge at all now.
I am not sure it will help, but I think I managed to "fix" it.

The long story:

So I had wepon set "I"(1) (mace+shield) and later added weapon set "II"(2) (2h mace).

I used set 1 early (no weapon in set2) and had the "shield charge" + "stomping groud (SG)" attached to set1 and set2. (SG worked)

Then I added set2 and swapped "shield charge" for "Leap slam" and inserted "stomping ground" into "Leap slam". (SG worked)

Then I decided to lock "Leap slam" to set2. (SG worked)

"A few minutes later" I realised that "Leap slam" is s___t (is not very good), and swaped back to "Shield charge". (SG did not work)

The "fix":

So SG was in "Leap slam" (locked to set2), now it "doesn't work" in "Shield charge" (locked to set1).

So what I did was:
1) Take "Sheild charge" out of the bild into the inventory. (with the SG inside)
2) Put "Leap slam" into the build and put SG into "Leap slam"
3) Take set2 - try - (worked). => Go to skill panel and change "Leap slam" from "only use with set2" to "use with set1 and set2" (both "I" and "II" with check marks)
4) Take "Leap slam" out of the build with SG inside.
5) Put "Shield charge" into the build and insert SG into "Shield charge". (SG worked)

TLDR:
I think this problem occures when you have a passive attached to a skill that is locked to a weapon, it will not work with another skill if the "new" skill is attached to a different weapon set. SO if you attache a skill with a support gem to set2, and then put the gem into a skill attached to set1 the passive may not work.
