Life recovery problem as a caster and recoup speed

I am playing minion witch and i realised i have no efficient way to fast recover my life except fo potion. Would be nice to have more spell damage leech gear, currently its just one unique with 5%.
Also you could add life leech from minion damage since if they are your main source of damage you cant leech from anything else.
Also why life recoup now takes 8 seconds? If you dont have like 150% recoup its really slow, you deffenitely need to shorten it.

P.S. You can stack as much life regen per second as possible on gear but its very hard when you are trying to get other stats, usually regen is not a priority.
Its especially painful for me since i played ward loop in poe 1 which had instant health recovery, and it was not the only build that could do that. Now healing is very limited
